New Planner Recruiting, LLC was established by Caleb Brown and Michael Kitces after seeing the many frustrations of financial planners, as well as experiencing it themselves personally, regarding professional staffing issues within financial planning firms. The amount of time spent (sometimes wasted) is enormous due to planners not knowing what they are looking for and even if they do, how to find it and keep it, etc. This problem is compounded by financial planning graduates who, as new entrants to the industry, have difficulties identifying the best firm and position for themselves without the experience to ask the right questions during the interview process that are necessary to ensure a good fit. 

Our vision is to be the premier recruiting and consulting firm for the financial planning community looking to fill professional positions that will develop into the lead client planner role. To continue to promote and grow the financial planning profession while giving back to ensure new entrants have opportunities and are aware of job expectations. Furthermore, use our experiences as practitioners and Gen Y consulting expertise to help close the skill and generational gap between the new planner and firm owner thus increasing the likelihood of success for both parties.
