"Caleb Brown and New Planner Recruiting are innovators in the industry of professional placement. Their business model allows them to work objectively with both CFP® practitioners and financial planning firms. This objective style enables them to establish personal relationships with both recruits and firms to create the optimal placement environment.
New Planner Recruiting values the importance of understanding the business owner’s core values and future business goals. They apply this knowledge to identify candidates with similar values and goals to ensure a good match for both parties. This dynamic differentiates New Planner Recruiting from all other placement companies in the industry.
Financial planning and professional placement are both industries that would be better served by the approach of New Planner Recruiting. It’s encouraging to see a company committed to doing business the right way. From their flat fee billing structure that allows them to work objectively to their extensive screening process, every step was a refreshing look at how the professional placement industry should function.
Having been placed in my current position by New Planner Recruiting, I definitely plan on using then when my firm looks to expand our operations and would recommend them to any one of our financial planning business associates. I am thankful for everything Caleb and New Planner Recruiting have done for me and look forward to having the opportunity to work with them in the future."

"I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Caleb and New Planner Recruiting. Navigating the hiring process is such a difficult experience for not only new planners trying to find the right opportunity, but also for firms looking for the ideal candidate. NPR provided me with an opportunity to interview for a position that would normally be reserved for people who were connected to the firm and would hear about the position by either word-of-mouth or a recommendation. This was not a position that is typically advertised, so without NPR's efforts, I would have never had the opportunity to make a connection with Barnstone.
NPR, using its extensive experience, was able to help me determine what type of position in financial planning would be the best fit for me and then went a step further and found a firm that provided that fit! In talking with other firms not in connection with NPR, it always seemed as though the firm did not have a good understanding of what their needs were and had entered the hiring process without a concrete idea of what they actually needed from a new hire. NPR helped my hiring firm realize what they needed from a new planner and then Caleb helped communicate those needs to me, and in return, helped the firm understand my skills and potential to be a great planner.
I am so thankful I came across NPR and have had the opportunity to get to know and work with Caleb and his vast amount of experience in this process. It has been such a great learning experience seeing how NPR has transformed the hiring process for aspiring financial planners. Without NPR and Caleb's efforts on my behalf, I would still be searching for the right position. I spent so much time searching for openings and applying to positions that were not even good fits. Caleb took the time to get to know me and assess my abilities, skills, career aspirations, and potential and before I knew it, he had found a perfect fit for my situation.
I was able to navigate the interview process with comfort and confidence from the advice Caleb was able to provide me. He has such a tremendous understanding of both perspectives -- the aspiring planner and the hiring firm -- and how to bring them together in the most effective way possible. I would recommend NPR to absolutely anyone looking to begin a financial planning career in a position that is tailor-made to his or her particular skills and personality. NPR offers a phenomenal service to new planners for absolutely no charge. NPR is the most effective way to go, regardless of which side of the hiring process you are on. Firm owners or aspiring planners, everybody wins when NPR is involved!"
